What are the entry requirements?
For entry into this program, candidates will need to meet the following requirements.
Hold a current NSW unrestricted builders license and/or hold a minimum of a certificate IV level in building completed within the last ten years. Candidates may be required to be interviewed to ensure that they meet these requirements before enrolment is accepted.
What does the course cover?
This course covers building surveying for residential or commercial structures. Candidates will need to demonstrate their skills in understanding the requirements of the BCA, structural engineering concepts, reporting on building faults, client briefs and local council requirements.
How is the program facilitated?
The units of competencies are offered in distance mode and seminar based. Participants will need to have the skills defined in the prerequisite section. Candidates will attend a three day workshop with the trainers and assessors providing
