REFUND POLICY
- Government Funded Students may not be eligible for a refund.
- If you have not contacted BITAD or have not submitted any work within a 2 month period, you will not be eligible for a refund.
- If you withdraw after 12 months from start of course, including any deferral time, you will not be eligible for a refund.
Online Students who do not fall into the above 3 categories will receive a partial refund of their course fees on the following basis:
- If you withdraw within 21 days of receiving your Log-in details being e-mailed to you:
• You will receive a refund less a $500 administration charge.
- If you withdraw after 21 days of receiving your Log-in details being e-mailed to you:
• Those students who are paying by stage payments will not be eligible to a refund. • Those students who have paid in full and are into Stage 1 of their studies will receive a refund, less the Stage 1 payment. • Those students who have paid in full and are into Stage 2 of their studies will receive a refund, less the Stage 1 and 2 payments. • Those students who have paid in full and are into Stage 3 of their studies will not be eligible for a refund.
Once a refund has been approved by the CEO of BITAD a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the Student. The refund will normally be processed within 30 days of receipt of the Students reply to this e-mail.
Course Cancelation
If a course is cancelled after beginning then only performing students will be eligible for a refund. This refund is based on enrolment fee paid and units enrolled divided by portion of units completed. No admin fee will be deducted. Performing students are defined as been actively participating in the course and have been submitting work within two month period. Students who have requested and been granted an extension of time in writing , are deemed performing if they have been submitting work according to the timeframes agreed.
(The CEO may approve a partial refund to students in extenuating circumstances. In this situation evidence may be required.)
This Refund Policy is subject to change at any time without prior notice and updated on our website at (www.bitad.edu.au).
Face to Face delivery clients refund policy:
- If the course is cancelled by BITAD prior to start date a full refund is provided
- If they withdraw after starting the course no refund will be provided
- If they withdraw prior to the course a refund less admin fee of 50% of the enrolment fee.
