Who should do this Course?

Contractors and supervisors who are responsible for the management of a construction project. This is Part 2 of Construction Project Management that deals with the project's financial aspects, such as project cash flows and cost control, and monitoring costs during the project. It also provides skills in the financial analysis of the project after completion to ensure best practice.

What are the Course Objectives?

At the completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Understand what project cash flow is and develop a cash flow forecast
  • evaluate a project cash flow;
  • develop a project expenditure graph using the bar chart;
  • accurately monitor project expenditure;
  • develop a post project financial analysis;
  • develop and analyse a project profit and loss report.

Revision of Construction Project Management 1
Module 1: Understanding, developing and analyzing the project cash flow
Module 2: The project estimate and monitoring project expenditure
Module 3: Post project profit analysis

Assessment

Submission of a simple hypothetical project plan.
